The origin of this organization was born from the experiences shared with the inhabitants of Cyahinda who unfortunately have living conditions lacking of basic needs. The idea is simple, with only one primary objective, which is to provide opportunities like most of us have had.
We want to make sure that every child has the opportunity to go to school to acquire a good knowledge, that they have the necessary intake of food for proper growth, as well as provide the school supplies, clothing and essential health coverage needed and an environment social and family adequate for its optimal development.
The idea of creating this program to help children begins during the medical exchange at the Butare hospital, with Alphonsine Twagirayezu. She is a three year old native girl from Cyahinda with whom a very interesting bond is established. The situation that Alphonsine lives in the hospital opens the eyes of the student to the needs, deficiencies and difficulties that families face in order to take care of their children. This one comes back with the desire and the need to provide all possible assistance to these less fortunate people.
